In 1984 Mr. Berne began to work in the wood sector at 1500 m2 installations.
In 1990 owing to the great performance of the past years, it is necessary to enlarge the installation to 6000 m2 of land and 900 m2 industrial bays. The company name was changed into Embalajes Bercalsa SL, established by Mr. Berne and his wife Mrs María Jesús Calvo Jimenez.
It was also change the aim of the company, so it started to be able to buy and sell used pallets.
In 1995, two owner´s sons started to work in the company.
In 2004, there was another installation enlargement, 25000 of land and 3000 m2 of industrial bays.
4 automatic production lines and a capacity of manufacturing 6000 pallets per day are available.
This history makes our company in one of the best firms in national packing sector.
At present Embalajes Bercalsa have 41.000 m2 of facilities.
